You’ll also explore the wartime headquarters where Allied leaders organised their resistance, including Churchill’s Cabinet War Rooms and Eisenhower’s Supreme Headquarters.
Moving sights bring history alive, such as the building where the bold Allied D-Day landings were planned (dubbed Operation Overlord). You’ll also witness the spot where Sir Winston Churchill delivered his VE Day victory speech to jubilant crowds. Passing through Parliament Square to Whitehall, look out for statues of heroes Churchill, Eisenhower and Roosevelt.
