February: Valentine’s Day in London
If you’re thinking about a gift for a loved one, a trip to London would be at the top of anyone’s wish list. London is not only one of the most historic cities in the world but also one of the most romantic. Think long walks along the Thames, as well as lazy afternoons in a cozy, traditional pub – in front of a roaring fire. Not forgetting world-class restaurants and attractions to help you and your loved one create memories that will last a lifetime. We can advise on the right property for you and your partner, as well as help with those special touches such as champagne and chocolates on arrival.
May: The Royal Wedding at Windsor Castle
We’re already on the search for a fancy hat since hearing the wonderful news of the engagement of Prince Harry to Megan Markle. This wonderful union has the UK already well into preparations for the big day on Saturday 19th May 2018. The nation will be glued to their screens to watch the event itself, however, the streets of Windsor will be lined with adoring fans, cheering on the happy couple. The venue has also been announced and the couple will be saying “I do” at St. George’s Chapel in the magnificent surrounds of Windsor Castle. Or, try our London, Hampton Court and Windsor Castle tour, where you’ll be met by one of our expert guides to uncover the history of the castle.
July: Wimbledon

The annual Wimbledon Championship is the oldest and most prestigious tennis event in the world, and one of the highlights of the London social calendar. Each July, the country is gripped by tennis fever as the world’s greatest players take to the famous grass courts. It’s also a time when London breaks out the Pimms and lemonade as well as the famous strawberries and cream – it’s tradition, after all. If you don’t have tickets to the matches, you don’t have to miss out on any of the action as large screens are erected all over the city. The atmosphere is just as good as being there, we think. We’ll be posting about where you can watch the matches closer to the time, so be sure to watch this space.
July: The BBC Proms

The annual BBC Proms is the musical event of the season and kicks off in July 2018. Each year, the Royal Albert Hall is the venue to be if you’re a fan of classical music. Over the course of two months, you can expect some of the most famous names gracing the iconic stage, as well as the latest acts on the classical music scene. It’s a sumptuous musical affair and is certainly one of the top events to attend during the summer. The atmosphere alone is electric, particularly on the famous Last Night of the Proms, which always guarantees a night of spectacular music and celebration.
July – September: Buckingham Palace
One of the most exciting and anticipated attractions of the summer is the opening of the magnificent State Rooms at Buckingham Palace. This is an opportunity to see behind the gates into the London residence of Her Majesty the Queen. You will have access to all 19 rooms which are used for ceremonial events, many of the rooms containing priceless artifacts from the Royal Collection. In 2018, there will also be a special exhibition celebrating the 70th birthday of The Prince of Wales. This is a day out designed for anyone with a love of history, make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment.
October: Celebrate Halloween in London
London’s scary side always comes alive in October with lots of spooky Halloween activities for all the family to enjoy. The city has truly embraced Halloween and we think it is a great time to visit. For younger guests, you can expect some wonderful activities at the famous London Zoo. This year, they had an exciting Extinction Trails activity where the zoo experts unearthed six extinct species. There’s also the annual pumpkin carving which was a treat for all the family. We think 2018 will be even more exciting and so we highly recommend this as a family day out. For the adults, there are also plenty of holiday-inspired fun with some spooktacular cocktails and dishes at Balthazar – one of our favorite restaurants in the city.
November: Thanksgiving in London

London is a fabulous city to celebrate Thanksgiving with many of the top restaurants laying on a spectacular holiday feast. This year, Christopher’s restaurant served up a traditional meal of slow-cooked ballotine of organic turkey, buttered beans, and creamed potatoes, finishing off with a dessert of classic pumpkin pie. We think their 2018 menu will be just as delicious! However, if you’d rather stay cozy and warm indoors, you can bring the Thanksgiving festivities to your chic London Perfect apartment. Fortnum & Mason provide some of the most spectacular food hampers, perfect if you want to celebrate in your home away from home. We can also advise on the top food stores in your area so your pantry is well stocked for the Thanksgiving weekend.
