Summer is an exciting time to visit London as there’s always an endless list of events happening around the city. Warm summer days and balmy evenings make for exciting, activity-filled days so you can make the most of every moment of your London vacation. We have listed some of the top activities to enjoy this June, and we think there will be something for everyone to enjoy!
1. Make a date with Shakespeare
From the not-to-be-missed Romeo & Juliet to an open-air production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, London is going crazy for Shakespeare this summer. Kenneth Branagh’s Romeo & Juliet stars Downtown Abbey’s Lily James and Game of Thrones Richard Madden and has received nothing but raving reviews. The play only runs until August, so grab your tickets quick!

2. Go Italian
Returning for 2016, The House of Peroni’s latest stint ‘Amare I’ltalia’ is back for a six-week residency offering guests ‘a taste of Italian style to savour.’ Take part in pasta-making workshops, cocktail classes, private dining or simply just relax with a beer on the floating bar. Admission is free, but tickets may need to be booked for some events.

3. Get Fit for Free
Fitness fanatic or not, yoga is such a relaxing way to begin your day (and a great way to feel less guilty about all that Italian food!) And St. Stephen’s are offering free classes. Open to all abilities, head down for a morning stretch then enjoy the complimentary refreshments. Sounds like the perfect morning to us.

4. A Room with a Zoo
Sleeping with the lions may not have been on the top of your vacation list, but with ZSL’s brand new Lion Lodge it’s one you simply cannot miss. Enjoy a two-course dinner and evening tour before you settle down for the night in your private cabin, looking over the lion’s enclosure. And if you still haven’t had enough, the ticket includes breakfast and a second tour around the zoo.
