For art lovers, the Courtauld Gallery in London is a gem. Truly one of the finest small museums in the world, visitors can meander through centuries of art history from the early Renaissance through the 20th century with a particularly notable collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces. And they also serve tea. Yes, this means it’s practically paradise in every way!
The Courtauld Gallery Café serves much more than tea, including freshly prepared salads, soups, light meals and desserts. With an indoor and outdoor dining area, it’s a lovely spot to stop before or after visiting the gallery or simply while visiting Somerset House. The outdoor terrace is one of our favorite spots to catch up with friends or take a sightseeing break, and all just a short walk from Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden.
