Happy Chinese New Year! While January 31st, 2014 begins the Year of the Horse in the Chinese calendar, the celebrations in London will kick off this weekend on Sunday, February 2nd. And they’re not just any celebrations … we’re talking the largest Chinese New Year celebrations outside Asia! Events kick off on Sunday at 10AM with a lively and fun parade along Charing Cross Road and Shaftesbury Avenue.
Then join in the festivities by heading to Trafalgar Square where you’ll find a huge stage featuring artists visiting from China. Stroll through Chinatown where you might spot lion teams and where local artists will be performing on Dean Street. And, of course, there are the delicious traditional food stalls and crafts on display, too!
