Our new London apartment rental, “The Sloane” in Chelsea, is an extremely spacious and sunny two-bedroom, two-bath apartment that can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people. Situated on the third floor of an elegant apartment building, with elevator, it features a live-in porter, this totally renovated London apartment offers a quiet setting complete with a beautifully landscaped garden courtyard, yet is only a stone’s throw from bustling Sloane Square and the popular King’s Road shopping area. At the top of Sloane Street is Harvey Nichols, the famous ready-to-wear store where Princess Diana shopped, and just a bit further on and a block to the left is Harrods. Located in what is undoubtedly one of London’s most popular neighborhoods, The Sloane is surrounded by upscale shops, boutiques, and restaurants and offers easy access to the Sloane Square Tube and the many buses waiting to deliver you anywhere in London. Bedrooms:	Two spacious bedrooms to sleep up to 5 people. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed; bedroom two has a dual king which can be made up as twins or as a king for extra flexibility. In addition, there is a folding foam mattress which can be set up in the master bedroom or in the living room at night.
Bathrooms:	2: Quality bathrooms tiled in cream colored tile. The first bathroom is off the entryway and features shower, sink and toilet. The second bathroom is en suite to the master bedroom and features bathtub/shower combination, double sinks and toilet.

Location:	Chelsea, just off Sloane Square and undoubtedly one of the best locations in London. The tube (subway) is around the corner, two blocks away and you are literally surrounding by shops, my favorite department store, excellent restaurants and cafés.

Security Deposit:	One half of one week’s rent and slightly more for longer stays. The deposit is fully refundable and is refunded promptly as soon as it is possible to check your personal phone consumption.

Description of the beautiful Sloane London apartment:

This is one of the nicest apartments we have seen in London and the location is ideal. Step into the large, third-floor entryway and find the kitchen and a bathroom to your right and the living and dining room to your left. These rooms feature attractive beige tile flooring and off-white walls and woodwork that enhance the sunny exposure of the large living room windows.

The living room offers very comfortable seating with a large sofa and two large stuffed armchairs. For your entertainment there is a TV with DVD player as well as a stereo. There is also free internet, so you can check emails and update yourself on news from home. This double room has 3 large windows which means streaming sunlight in the daytime and beautiful views over Chelsea rooftops. The window are double glazed so the room is extremely quiet.

The left side of this spacious room is the dining area featuring an immense 1940s-style dining table that can seat up to six people. There are large windows and beautiful views over the rooftops of London.

The bathroom off the entrance hall continues the 1940s motif with all modern fixtures in porcelain and stainless steel. It features a glass-enclosed shower stall, heated chrome towel rack, wall-mounted sink, and a unique, space-saving corner commode.

Step into the kitchen and marvel at the oversized window above the stainless steel double sink. The view is of the landscaped garden patio below. The kitchen is large by London standards and offers all new top-of-the-line appliances, plenty of cupboard and counter space, and virtually everything you’ll need to prepare gourmet meals. Find a washer/dryer combination, large oven, dishwasher, full-sized refriegerator/freezer, microwave and four-burner stove. Everything is new and impeccably maintained.The views at the back are towards large private gardens and a pretty church – you feel like you are on a stage set for Peter Pan.

Walk down the hallway to the master bedroom on your right. This spacious room features a comfortable king-sized bed with matching bedside tables and lamps, a full-sized dresser, loads of closet space next to a large mirror for dressing, and windows that overlook the gardens below. Wall-to-wall carpeting and recessed ceiling lights contribute to its comfort.

You’ll also find a folding foam mattress for a fifth person, next to the closets that can be used here or in the spacious living room. The luxurious and large en suite master bath features a bathtub/shower combination, heated chrome towel rack, two porcelain pedestal sinks below oversized mirrors, and a toilet fronting a tiled shelf with mirrored cupboards above. The views are over the garden below, just like the kitchen.

The second bedroom is on your left, and it a dual-king bed, which you can ask to be made up as twins if you prefer. There are matching bedside tables and lamps, wall-to-wall carpeting, and recessed ceiling lights. You’ll also find plenty of closet space, a work desk with chair, and a large sunny window overlooking Sloane Street. The windows in the apartment are all double glazed which means the apartment is very quiet from every room, a big advantage in this bustling city.

There is a high speed dsl line and desk in the second bedroom so you can plug in and catch up on emails.

Completing The Sloane’s comfortable accommodations is a truly lovely garden patio paved in York stone. Guests are welcome to use this private oasis that features a multitude of flowers and greenery, a large shade tree, and two iron tables with chairs as well as a bench—perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or as a serene respite from a day of shopping, sipping your favorite wine.

The location is one of our favorites in London, just off Sloane Square and King’s Road, one of the centers of shopping and activity. Peter Jones, our favorite department store, is located on the Square. The King’s Road with is hundreds of boutiques, café’s and restaurants starts at Sloane Square. The new Duke of York Square features fine boutiques and a beautiful open patio area to enjoy ice cream or espresso on sunny days.
